Partnership with HDF Mercy Center

Children are the future of society. We partner with HDF Mercy Centre, a place where we can spend quality time with the children and help them write their wishes on cards. These wish cards, symbolising hope, will soon be displayed on our ‘Tree of Hope’ at the resort’s lobby. We eagerly anticipate our guests’ participation, who can share their kindness and help make these wishes come true.

 

Cleaning the local canal

Altogether with TerraCycle Foundation, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok’s heartists made a significant contribution to preserve our planet by cleaning the canal and removing 3,151 kilograms of waste, a record-high since the creation of the foundation. We will continue our sustainability practices to nurture our planet and keep the canals clean to create a better world.

 

Kilo of Kindness 2023

Kilo of Kindness has been a yearly Movenpick’s brand activities. Our #8th Kilo of Kindness last year, we have gathered all the supplies of essential items, such as dry food, toys, school supplies and clothes in the total of 474.60 kilograms. We have donated to Don Thong Rat Witthaya School in Lopburi on December 6th, 2023. Thank you everyone once again for the donation to support and enhance children ‘s quality of life.

 

Celebrate World Environment Day 2024

On World Enronment Day, our heartists committed sustainability practice and community care by cleaning and collecting garbage on Somkid Alley. We aim to maintain the cleanliness of the area and enhance awareness in terms of the environment. Raising environmental awareness helps make a positive impact on our planet to create a better place for our future generations.

Kilo of Kindness 2024 

Hotel CSR

In 2024, we have collected 413 kilograms of food and donated to the children of the Mercy Center in Klongtoei, Bangkok, assisting communities in need.

Kilo of Kindness is Movenpick Hotels and Resort’s  annual initiative invites guests, Heartists®, and local communities to contribute food items, clothing, and educational supplies, which will be distributed to local charity partners. Each contribution reflects Mövenpick’s belief that even the smallest act of generosity can create a significant and lasting impact.

 

Kilo of Kindness 2025

 

Campaign period: 13 October – 13 November. 2025 marked the tenth annual Kilo of Kindness campaign by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. Together with our Heartist team and valued partners—Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, Phyathai 1 Hospital, and BDMS Wellness Clinic—we collected a record 1,070 kilograms of food and gifts, delivering them to underprivileged children at the HDF Mercy Centre in Klongtoei, Bangkok. To make the day even more special for the children, our team also provided a special lunch and the Mövenpick Chocolate Hour experience for them to enjoy. The day concluded with fun games and heartfelt farewells, leaving everyone with big smiles.
